Rooted in the in growing city of The Big Guava, we're sharing our experiences, challenges, and joys of raising a slow and  minimal family in this beautiful, growing city. Our blog birthed at a time of transformation, not just for myself but for the entire family. I’d just transitioned to be a SAHM, we moved from a shared apartment into a tiny house, and my husband was in the middle of a big change in careers. We were all figuring out who we were in what our oldest calls “The Blue House". The name, Our Little Life, came from not only the acknowledgment of the downsizing everything in our lives, but also a nod to the literal saying that life is short. We’re learning how to spend our time together intentionally, how to slow down so we can cherish the moments that could be lost when we don’t. We’re  slowing down when the world is telling us to speed up, living smaller when the world tells us to live bigger to feel happiness. We want to show that life can still be full in the small moments, if you let it be.
